While going through this journey themselves as parents, Parita (founder of LEAPeducate) and Rachel (Head of 11+ preparation), swiftly understood the need for holistic support during the preparation.

It is a competitive process, however, what is lacking is students and parents feeling needless pressure to prepare for hours on hours, in order to have a chance at passing. So, we need to include a personalised approach to allow students to use their individual learning styles to progress through the 11+ curriculum. This is coupled with a growth mindset approach, to pave the way for intrinsic motivation – the ultimate requirement for this process.

We’ve all heard the phrase ‘work smarter, not harder’.

Diligence is a prerequisite, but so is understanding your child’s learning style, and ensuring the journey is as challenging and enjoyable as possible.

Our 11+ programme will support your child’s motivation to want to achieve their optimum 11+ goals in the longer term. As teachers, our own children and students alike are driven to achieve and perform at their optimum while maintaining momentum. From September to December for those in year 6.

Suitable for those needing independent school prep.

 COMBINED COURSE – 16 WEEKS

From August to December, for those heading into year 6.

Meet the Head of the 11+ Course, Rachel

Rachel has been in education since 1992, along with the early days of the National Curriculum. Her teaching career started in the Independent Sector and eventually, became head of the Middle School running a successful department overseeing the junior children, their transition into Senior School and ensuring they maintained their excellent results.

From 2011, Rachel also spent a decade in the Middle East working in IB and PYP programme, while gaining International teaching expertise.

Rachel has since moved back to UK, and works to deliver her expertise to tutors and develop students who are preparing for their 11+ examinations. She has been pivotal in creating our unique preparatory program which supports individuals holistically, using her experience to help them reach and exceed their potential.

Summer Course

Nick and Kaayan

LEAPeducate and the team of tutors are amazing!

We have been using them now for a number of months and I have a strict policy that the service needs to be approved by my son for us to continue. I am not a pushy parent, but work in conjunction with my kids to ensure they are happy with the help provided. If they feel they are not getting what they need, we end the engagement.

LEAPeducate understand the nuances each child has, and tailors their approach according to your child’s needs. Kaayan has built an exceptionally strong bond with his tutor, Rachel, who has been nothing short of a godsend. Kaayan really enjoys his lessons and Rachel has helped him comprehend the most complex topics by devising strategies that work for him. The team are really good, and have regular check in points to ensure we are getting value for money.

It is a difficult choice when selecting a tutor, and sometimes you need to take a leap of faith without really knowing if the service is really going to deliver. I took that leap, and we are now reaping the rewards.
